Elizabeth Emken spoke before a standing room only group of donors and well wishers backing her challenge of the incumbent 4 term Senator, Diane Feinstein.
Candidate Emken focused on her core issues: Completely replacing the president’s health care law, creating a simplified tax system, while creating an environment in California that will become a job magnet for companies desiring to start-up or return to the Golden State.
Mrs. Emken said, ” It’s not rocket science, it’s a matter of lowering taxes at the corporate and individual level.” “By creating the proper incentives many employers will choose to return to the state, thus growing its tax base.”
“In contrast with my opponent raising taxes is not the answer, creating new tax payers is.” With her election, she said, “California is once again open for business.”
In comparing herself with Mrs. Feinstein she said, ” I understand people, I’m a wife, a mother, I’ve worked in the private sector for IBM as a cost analyist, with degrees in political science and accounting along with my charity work with Autism Speaks.
“The senator is so completely out of touch she has put her campaign on cruise control believing her position to be a lifetime position of entitlement.”
“That will not happen when I am elected, I will work tirelessly for the entire state and country not against it as senator Feinstein consistently does.
She urged the crowd to visit her on the issues here.
