Between Leslie Stahl and Dianne Feinstein in the video below are some very clear admission of ignorance as well as disinformation.
Let’s take the assertion that the Republican’s took both houses of congress during the Gingrich Revolution, giving credit to the NRA and gun lobby is ludicrous.
This was a clear-cut repudiation of “Hillary Care” the ninety’s version of Obama’s Health Care Denial and Rationing law.
As to Cartels having so-called assault weapons, how about putting those responsible like Eric “The Witholder” behind bars and quit shipping guns to Mexico?
When Feinstein talks about the mentally incompetent she must be describing herself and anyone with a basic knowledge about firearms wouldn’t put their finger on the trigger of a weapon unless they were planning to use it. (This is axiomatic in any basic weapons course.)
How many anti-gun laws are still on the books? Have they kept criminals from obtaining them? Not at all, they buy their weapons illegally on the black market.
As to the 65 Democrats who have signed a letter against further assault weapon legislation has it occurred to Feinstein and Stahal that these representative actually listen to their constituents many of whom represent states where hunting game is sport and provides food?
Feinstein is still of the mindset that guns kill people when factually people kill people. The main cause of death and injury in Afghanistan was not guns but IEDs.
Perhaps ‘her arrogance’ would prefer that people begin using pipe bombs to kill others?
Feinstein just admitted that progressives like her pay homage to those that buy their votes and could care less about what their voters want.
It is time to replace the 79 year-old Senator who has more on her mind than raising taxes and trampling on the Second Amendment.
Doubt me? Send a letter to her on the topic, within two months you will receive a form letter telling you how she will keep your thoughts in mind as she deliberates on the issue. By form letter I’m suggesting a one size fits all for any issue Email that fails to mention the issue de jure.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

She promised California delegates she’d return to Congress to reintroduce “an updated assault weapons bill.”
At the delegates’ breakfast, she said that, “Weapons of war do not belong on our streets, in our classrooms, in our schools or in our movie theatres.”
Feinstein co-sponsored an assault weapons ban signed into law in 1994, which expired 10 years later.
Do you support Sen. Feinstein’s plan to reintroduce an updated assault weapons bill?
