Diane Feinstein is clearly trying to deceive Americans here by blaming Republicans or she has become to old at 79 to understand what she is saying. In either case she has been in the U.S. Senate, “Too Long and she is “Too Wrong to represent any but her fringe constituents and that of her families fortunes by steering the taxpayers money to her husband’s companies thus insuring an increase in her own personal wealth. It’s clear Feinstein has no shame, imagine having a house foreclosed then having the additional indignity of knowing that the U.S. Senator from CA got richer in the process. But, hey, what’s $25 billion among friends right?
Of course this wasn’t the first time, Mrs. Feinstein was forced to resign from the Military Construction Committee that she chaired because she once again directed funds toward her husband’s other company as well. Imagine that!
One would think that, considering all the money Feinstein’s family has pocketed by waging global warfare while ignoring the plight of wounded American soldiers, she would show a smidgen of shame and resign from the entire Senate, not just a subcommittee. Conversely, you’d think she might stick around MILCON to try to fix the medical-care disaster she helped to engineer for the vets who fought in the recent wars.
When Diane Feinstein is speaking always remember, Caveat emptor as in “buyer beware.” If she is selling it trust the reader needs to look very closely. Apparently the disengenuousness of the senator has no limit.
Democratic Senators Patty Murray, Jeanne Shaheen, and Dianne Feinstein take a bold anti–domestic violence stance.
The GOP Denies It’s Anti-Woman, Opposes Expanded Domestic Violence Bill. This proposed law is short on protecting violence against women but long on granting status to one of Senator Feinstein’s favorite fringe groups.
Indeed, in a stealth manner she defends in language for her constituents among the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.
Apparently the soon to be x-senator has forgotten the “hate crimes and hate speech legislation” that only the politically incorrect could love. Now this would never be expected from Dianne’s party to slip amnesty for illegal immigrants into the bill; but wait a minute, they have.
See original language and intent of the Violence Against Women Act, passed in 1994 and renewed twice as needed. Both the House and the Senate have passed separate versions. It appears stalled as the democrats tried to slip a fastball and a curve past Congressional Republicans as noted above.
In a revealing article by Margaret Hartman for New York Magazine, she opined, “No one in Congress has ever wanted to be branded the pro-domestic violence party. Yet this week, the Republicans and Democrats entered into a bitter feud that fuels talk of the GOP’s purported “war on women,” and gives Democrats like Representative Judy Chu of California an opportunity to bust out phrases like, “It’s not the Violence Against Women act, but the Open Season for Violence Against Women Act.” Wow, such harsh rhetoric.
Let’s try to keep calm heads here folks, if this were simply about reauthorizing the original act it would be on President Obama’s desk for his signature. Hoping, that Republicans would follow Nancy Pelosi’s lead, that they would pass the bill before they read it, Republicans chose to read the entire legislation instead.
