Has there ever been a tax increase that Dianne Feinstein ever opposed? According to Project Vote Smart that would be a big NO!
Once Senator Feinstein is unseated by Elizabeth Emken on November 6th, her gestures will be limited to those of the shippers she will then command. “Put these boxes here, and those over there.”
As a member of the United States Senate appropriations committee, Diane Feinstein struck out once again. Rarely a leader and most noticeably a follower in areas of substance, even she would not vote for Obama’s budget.
Again the follower, she fell in line with the rest of the members of her party giving the president zero votes on Wednesday March 16th, thus leaving the chamber, and therefore the federal government, without a plan to address Medicare, Social Security and the other major entitlement programs that are driving deficits and debt. In repeated votes, Democrats who control the chamber defeated four Republican proposals, including a plan that passed the House in March.
The entire Senate also unanimously rejected President Obama’s 2013 budget, voting 99-0 against it, following a 414-0 vote against it in the House earlier this year. A stunning development for the president as even his party won’t buy what he is selling.
Perhaps the aging senator is a fan of the Girl Scouts of America because of their association with Planned Parent Hood.
Elizabeth Emken, the endorsed Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in California, made the following statement Wednesday on the Senate Democrats’ refusal to pass any one of the five separate federal budget proposals put in front of them this afternoon – President Obama’s budget and four different Republican proposals offered by Rep. Ryan and Senators Toomey, Paul and Lee:
“It has now been 1,113 days since Dianne Feinstein and her fellow Senate Democrats last passed a budget. Since that date, the federal government has spent $10.6 trillion and, even more alarming, the federal debt has skyrocketed by $6.5 trillion since Sen. Feinstein last faced the voters in 2006.
“Nothing highlights Feinstein’s failed leadership more than her refusal to support a budget—something all California families do every month. None of us can suspend our family budgeting for years on end without consequence. It’s time to retire Senator Feinstein and let the next generation take over and get to work.”
CA voters reject the time worn failed policies of Feinstein and the Democrats in the senate. They are saying, “Out with the old and in with the new.” Elizabeth Emken will work for all Americans not against them by unseating the “Tax and Spendocrat Feinstein.

There is an underlying story behind the 99-0 vote. Republicans wanted more cuts in spending and taxes, while the Democrats were rejecting the idea that their programs would be cut. Perhaps the Democrats might do some basic reading on economics and taxation.

The 79 year-old Feinstein has been “TOO WRONG 4 “TOO LONG” for CA. Since she views her position as a ceremonial one, as she has become a perennial senate seat warmer, Californians have rejected Feinstein and will be voting for Elizabeth on November 6th.
