With Dianne Feinstein the 79 year-old senior Democrat Senator from CA it’s not what she tells her constituents it’s what she neglects to tell them as will as the secret nuisance of her blather.
Taken directly from her website, she of course fails to mention that 46% of taxpayers pay no federal income tax and in many cases receive an earned income tax credit.
13.2 million California families save average of $1,600 in taxes next year
Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)today issued the following statement after the Senate passed the Middle Class Tax Cut Act to extend tax cuts for the 98 percent of American families making less than $250,000 per year. The legislation cleared the Senate by a vote of 51 to 48.
In the line above she subtly makes a jab at the 2% of the wealthiest in America and how she and her progressive ilk were unable to tax them.
Wake up senator, you have created a dependency state in CA with your continued votes to raise taxes. The voters have made the connection between, businesses leaving the state, with resultant job losses and your failed economic policies.
“Today the Senate extended critical tax relief for 98 percent of American families, an action that will help 13.2 million California families save more than $1,600 next year. This tax cut will make a difference in the lives of middle-class families trying to make ends meet in this sluggish economy.”
Sluggish? How about dead in the water and sinking as a more useful adjectives?
According to the statistics released for July from the Bureau of Labor Statics, California ranks 49th at 10.7%. Your fellow partner in crime, the obstreperous Senator Harry Reid, another progressive in number 50 at 10.9 %.
It’s time you face reality Dianne, you lack no common sense when it comes to economics and taxation. Your ethical challenges continue to mount, you are no longer need in the U.S. Senate as you and your policies don’t represent what is good for America.
Fortunately a clearly more qualified Elizabeth Emken is getting her message of job creation and growth. When she replaces you, it’s doubtful you will be missed with the exception of those who have you in their pockets, the GLBT Community, Radical Environmentalists, and the corporate donors that bribe you for your votes.
Our national debt now tops $15 trillion. Tax revenue is at the lowest percentage of GDP since 1950 while income inequality continues to rise.
Under these circumstances, the wealthiest Americans who have done well in this economy can afford to pay more, but why should they? They are the ones who create new wealth, businesses and jobs with their money by investing in companies giving them capital to expand, thus increasing the tax base. You see senator, taxes need not be raised its the number of new tax payers that need to be created.
I’m sorry, I know that well beyond your 79 year-old mind to grasp.
