Interesting, Feinstein, not being a Catholic probably doesn’t understand if she hoped to have here Hale Mary play be caught in the end zone she would be better off not telling all the lies below before she puts the ball up in the air.
Once again Dianne Feinstein abused my spam box with another disingenuous cry for help.
Dear Friend, I’m guessing she is a slow learner LOL
Everyone who has anything to do with politics this year is talking about the new Republican vice presidential candidate, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and the plan he authored to end Medicare as we know it. But what about the rest of the agenda?
Out with the old and in with the new. Elizabeth Emken was among the first to applaud Mitt Romney for his bold choice of Paul Ryan as his running mate.
Come on Di just another lie? This is what Congressman Paul Ryan has promised.
1. No one over the age of 55 would be affected in any way.
2. Traditional Medicare fee-for-service would remain available for all. “Premium support”—that is, government funding of private insurance plans chosen by individuals—is an option for those who choose it. No senior would be forced out of the traditional Medicare program against his will.
3. Overall funding for Medicare under the Ryan-Wyden plan is scheduled to grow at the same rate as under President Obama’s proposals. Is this “gutting Medicare” and “ending Medicare as we know it”? In reality, it’s the market giving seniors cheaper, higher quality choices they can take if they wish, with the traditional program remaining an option.
Rep. Ryan once suggested partially privatizing Social Security. He opposes fair pay for women in the workplace. He wanted to ban in-vitro fertilization, to say nothing of his opposition to women’s contraceptive care. He’s fought against equality for same-sex couples, and against our historic repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.
I don’t know any more with you Dianne, with blood in the water and the sharks circling over your moribund campaign it appears you will say anything. His plan for privatizing Social Security would be optional and let younger workers opt out if they chose thus getting a better return on the monies extorted from them in FICA ‘contributions.’
Congressman Ryan doesn’t oppose women’s contraception, unlike you he believes in the United States Constitution and sees the issue as the federal government once again over stepping its reach on the First Amendment, a church and state issue, which it clearly is.
In fighting the same-sex marriage issue and voting to repeal of “Our historic Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” in the military have you forgotten you voted for President Clinton’s legislation?
The agenda that Rep. Ryan represents goes far beyond Medicare. It speaks to the heart of the damaging partisanship that has taken over Washington. And it’s exactly what we’re fighting against this year.
Oh please damaging partisanship? Could you be anymore obtuse?
There is nothing but partisanship with Harry Reid’s death grip on the gavel as Senate Majority Leader. If Harry doesn’t want it never makes it to the Senate for a vote.
I represent the interests of America’s middle class families.
Wrong again Dianne with your lack of understanding of economics and the resultant effects of taxation you represent the teachings of Karl Marx not the middle class please get that straight.
Millions of special interest dollars are flooding into races all across the country. They’re attacking the President. They’re attacking Democrats. They’re even attacking other Republicans who are too “moderate.” Compromise has practically become a sin in Washington.
This is a problem? The only time your lexicon of trite verbage mentions compromise is when your back is against the wall. When you are holding the cards, its full speed ahead with the steam roller? It wasn’t compromise that got Obama’s Health Care Denial and Rationing Plan passed, it was back room deals done in the dark, arm twisting and bribe that got the requisite votes. You talk about compromise?
When Congressman Ryan, head of the Congressional Budget Committee took Obama to the wood shed on his smoke and mirrors phony numbers ‘supporting’ ObamaCare, Obama’s response was basically we won and we are doing it our way the numbers be damned.
And special interest groups continue to use their millions to buy influence in races all across the country. Karl Rove and his group, Crossroads GPS, recently spent another $7.2 million in a single ad campaign attacking Democratic Senate candidates in swing states across the country.
Well, be still my heart! (more below)
