Twenty-seven individuals have decided to contest Diane Feinstein for the opportunity to run against her on November 6th. First, they must finish first on California’s June 5th primary election.
Dan Hughes for U.S. Senate
Mr. Hughes has not participated in politics but has made his career in the private sector.
Like most career politicians he has rapidly developed the knack of developing a panoply of issues undoubtedly put fourth by his team of advisors, hoping that the issues are designed to capture the attention of the single-issue voter.
Clearly well meaning, his campaign lacks focus. As President Obama made so many promises that he failed to keep, candidate Hughes would likely find himself, like the president, quickly overwhelmed.
Al Ramirez for U.S. Senate
Mr. Ramirez made his living at AT&T. His skill set led him toward the information highway were his experience was largely surrounded by work in developing AT&T’s plat form for the internet.
His roots go back to being a Native American Choctaw and Spanish immigrant with both parents being part French who ultimately settled in Louisiana. It seems logical that he will woo the Hispanic/Latino voters.
On the issues he is more focused than Mr. Hughes. However his issues are more generic: The Economy, The Constitution, The Nation’s Security and The World We live In. All hot button issues to be sure with little insight provided from his campaign page.
His endorsements are few with the exception of picking up the California National Assembly.
Dr.Orly Tatez, Esquire for U.S. Senate
Perhaps the candidate with the most recognized name would be that of Dr. Orly Taitz, Esquire, of “birther” fame. She is to be commended for the time she spent trying to get the court system to hear her case on Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS. Sadly for her, she could not and would not let go of an issue that current members of congress showed no desire from the very beginning to uphold their oaths and proceed forward with impeachment proceedings.
Dr. Taitz is a relentless self-promoter and clearly shows her penchant for becoming unhinged with the tirade she unleashed on World News Daily in the linkage which appeared on her website below.
Like Candidate Hughes, her platform lacks focus and suggests she will attack issues with the World trade organization, among twelve other buzzword areas with the exception of number 12.
According to Dr. Taitz, “I will launch an investigation of Barack Obama for occupying the White House, while using a fraudulently obtained Connecticut Social Security number 042-68-4225, which was never assigned to him according to E-verify and SSNVS and for using a computer generated forgery (according to experts) instead of a valid Long Form birth certificate. I will demand investigation and prosecution of governmental officials who are aiding and abetting Barack Obama in his occupation of the position of the U.S. President without any valid identification papers.
Do Californians need a U.S. senator that will still be tilting at windmills and seems to easily get unhinged to represent them?
The primary is on June 5th, I report and you decide. Be sure to visit each candidates website.
