If Dianne Feinstein continues to refuse to debate challenger Elizabeth Emken, then it’s time to replace the senator with new blood, outstanding qualifications and a new U.S. Senator with nothing to hide. Elizabeth Emken U.S. Senate for CA 2012.
Is it price gouging senator or the effect of environmentalist demanding fuel additives of real or imagined value and your lust for every increasing taxes that are at the bottom of this issue?
To be sure prices at the pump fluctuate normally, from a seasonal stand point, supply and demand, we are in an global market place after all, supply interruptions and to a degree hedging oil as a commodity all contribute to price changes.
According to the GasBuddy gasoline price tracking web site, the price of a gallon of regular gas was around $1.79 when Mr. Obama took office.
Dianne Feinstein needed to look no further than the chart here to see that CA has the highest gas taxes with federal, state and local combined of any state in the nation.
Feinstein might also be interested in the effect the environmental movement has had on increasing gasoline at the pump particularly in CA.
She has had the last four terms in the U.S. Senate to hold hearing on this issue but of course remained mum.
According to the San Francisco Business Times yesterday, California Senator Dianne Feinstein asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate gasoline prices in the Golden State, which she thinks are higher than they should be. Once again senator, you are too little and too late.
Feinstein still a “Kling On” when it comes to the refuted lack of science substantiating a relationship between so-called “Man induced CO2 Climate Change” would do well to pay attention to the sign below.
If there were ever evidence needed that term limits are required for those that don’t keep up on the realities of that which they choose to pontificate, the above short video is proof. Feinstein, unchallenged does not utter a factual statement. Is this taxation without representation?
It’s time to fire Diane Feinstein and hire Elizabeth Emken.
Of course the ceremonial 79 year-old senior senator is wondering why gasoline typically costs more in California than in nearby states, even as drivers have switched to efficient vehicles and used less fuel?”
Perhaps if she returned to her home state more frequently than the current election cycle and actually paid for her own gas she would have a clue.
Being chauffeured around Washington and now California she is seeing how her constituents face skyrocketing prices so now she wants to make it a campaign issue? I don’t think so senator.
“Compare Sen. Feinstein’s ‘none of the above’ energy agenda that has blocked offshore exploration and projects like Keystone with Elizabeth Emken’s ‘all of the above’ energy plan that promotes a ‘Pipeline to Prosperity.’ That’s a debate that everyone, including the Los Angeles Times, agrees this race needs to have.” A debate the senator cannot win!
