CA Sen. Feinstein Blocks Action on National Concealed Carry

Diane Feinstein the ‘guns are fine for me but not for you,” Senator from CA has carried a concealed weapons permit and a weapon through out her career.  Now her efforts will be going down in flames as she ran afoul yesterday  of the Maryland Federal Court, Judge Bensen Everett Legg , who ruled that gun owners  need not provide ‘good reason’ to carry a concealed weapon. In his decision he said “the existing law’ “Grossly Violates The Second Amendment Of The Constitution!”  In doing so he upheld the same position taken by the 2110 District Court that also held the same opinion. 

Feinstein like most liberal democrats don’t understand that repeatedly when people are armed as they choose, crime of violence go down.  It’s time we replace members of congress that have become to tired and lazy to keep up with current facts.

Currently, well over 2/3 of the people living is states within the United States   have the right to carry arms.  Forty states are shall issue states meaning the must issue a permit “shall issue states” with the remaining being “ 7 may issue states,” meaning it’s up to the discretion of the county sheriff to determine if a state will be shall=must vs. will= get ready to jump through hoops and prepare to be shot down. One state still remains a “no issue state” and of course it would be the state of Illinois.

So what’s with our so-called “elite leaders, most notable among them the anti gunner from CA, Senator Diane Feinstein, who brings new meaning to, “Do as I say not as I do,” in having a permit to carry a concealed weapon displays her hypocrisy and contempt for her constituents.   

This issue will become moot in CA when Elizabeth Emken defeats the tired 82-year-old senator seeking her 5 term to the United States.  Elizabeth Emken supports the Second Amendment and will oppose any attempt to weaken it.

 

 

Why should she and many of her friends in congress be allowed to carry weapons for self-defense while those of us not deemed worthy are left to ourselves against all manner of criminal and thug?  Why do they have this  attitude?  It’s simple, “We the People” have let them get away with it for far to long.

Why would they want to put us at the mercy of armed robbers, rapists, burglars, home invasion aficionados, and those that just enjoy killing for the heck of it?

In an interview with Firearms Expert Training Instructor Greg Block , I was advised this might result in every state becoming a “shall issue state.”  Mr. Brock then said, “This is a great ruling but it’s not over.” “Having been upheld by the Maryland 4th court of appeals the case will make its way to the U.S. Supreme Court.”

 

Feinstein wrote, “These dangerous bills … would undermine states’ rights by forcing nearly every state to accept the concealed carry permits issued by other states, even if the permit holder could not qualify for a permit in the state to which he is traveling.”

The National Rifle Association said it would not be deterred in efforts to pass reciprocity legislation.

“We have to work harder to get 60 votes, and we’re prepared to do that,” NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said, referring to the number of senators needed to end a filibuster.
